Head of School Excellence Scholarships
We have two partial fee scholarships （£3000）， available to UK/EU and International fee paying students, which can be used on our MSc Inequalities and Social Science programme, starting in September 2018.
These scholarships can be used in conjunction with the Alumni Bursary, where applicable. The scholarship will be applied to the full fee first and then a further 10% will be deducted from the remaining fee.
This scholarship is awarded based on academic merit.
Conditions of the award
Not open to individuals who are already holding another award which covers the payment of tuition fees in full or part, with the exception of the Alumni Bursary.
Not open to individuals who have already been awarded a doctoral degree or equivalent
Receipt of the scholarship is conditional upon you commencing your period of study by registering no later than 1st October in the academic year for which the award is offered.
Scholarships cannot be deferred to a later year.
If you are successful you must confirm acceptance of your offer of a place on a Masters programme and the scholarship award within two weeks of notification of the award otherwise the scholarship will be awarded to another applicant.
Applicants must live within a reasonable distance of the University of Leeds whilst in receipt of this Scholarship.
International Excellence Scholarships
This full fee scholarship is available to students paying international rates, which can be used on any Masters courses offered by the School of Sociology and Social Policy except the MSc Inequalities and Social Science, starting in September 2018.
